Cities
several times the size of Lebanon would be justifiably proud to
have a facility of the caliber of the Cowan Civic Center. So, its
not surprising that Lebanons residents just about bust their
buttons when talking about the CCC.

Opened
in 1998, the Cowan Civic Center bears the name of Kenneth Cowan,
Lebanons late mayor and the man whose idea it was. The CCC
is much more than a place to meet. A 46,000-square foot exhibition
hall hosts such events as ice shows, rodeos, conventions, and trade
shows. The hall can seat 6,500 people.

A
675-seat theatre is used for everything from theatrical productions
to musical concerts to corporate seminars. Both the theatre and
exhibition hall feature state-of-the-art acoustics and lighting.

On
the sports side, the CCC is equipped with an NCAA approved lap pool
and a gymnasium with a regulation size hardwood basketball court.
Adjoining the gym is a room with a rubber sports floor,
used for tennis, volleyball and walking. A wellness center includes
treadmills, stationary bicycles, and a weight machine. A one-mile
fitness trail is located just outside.
The
Cowan Civic Center also has three small meeting rooms, which can
be combined with the Grand Foyer for meetings, receptions, and banquets.
